Can you write on wood with Cricut?
The Cricut Explore Air didn’t completely cut through the balsa wood after a single pass (cut). The good news is, we discovered that the Cricut Explore Air can write on balsa wood without any bleeding!

Does vinyl stick to wood?
Vinyl should stick decently to unfinished wood, but if you sand and coat it with either paint or a clear coat, it will adhere much easier. After you get your vinyl on, you can also take your clear coat and spray it over the top of your vinyl. Having a coat over the top will help it stick down also.

How do you make glass etching stand out?
There is a “paint like coloring” that you can brush onto the etchings to make them stand out better, but in my opinion this defeats the purpose of creating that etched look. The product is called Rub N’ Buff if you wanted to check it out. To get noticeable etchings, you have to go with abrasive blasting processes.
